Lipoic Acid Proven to Clear Acetaldehyde in Humans

R-alpha-lipoic acid is a versatile small molecule antioxidant, an important member of your overall antioxidant team. A new study found that treatment with lipoic acid could dramatically improve heart protection by increasing the activity of the aldehyde dehydrogenase enzyme.
